Road Report: 1500 km. It is 75% paved through Sudan now with most of it new within the last couple years. The parts that are not paved are corrugated rutted loose sand and hard packed gravel, including some quite tough riding. The unpaved days are mostly after Khartoum when we head out on the route near Dindar National Park. Be warned; this is some serious rough riding!
